Chanting the divine names (Nama Kirtan) is a simple path suitable for the current age, we live in. It can be done by anybody, anytime and anywhere. Nama Kirtan has no ‘binding’ rules and regulations and involves no cost. It is a path that requires no paraphernalia and leads to inner transformation. While the mental repetition of the divine name leads to the good of the individual, chanting the divine names loudly, purifies the singer, the listener and the very place where the chanting is done. It is verily for this reason that Sri Sri Swamiji advocates group chanting of the Maha Mantra. Chanting the Maha Mantra (eka Nama) helps one to develop concentration and one-pointedness.
Volunteers of our organisation inspired by Sri Swamiji’s spiritual guidance and with unwavering faith in the power of Nama kirtan organise regular group chanting sessions upon request. If you wish to host a group chanting session, please e-mail contact@godivinity.org.au
