Gopa Kuteeram classes relocated to Namadwaar at 44 Oakes Road, Winston Hills from the third school term.
A bhajan /choir class has been commenced for L1 and L2 children from this term.
Gopa Kuteeram children were invited to perform the invocation prayer at the ‘India Day’ event on 14 August 2016 to celebrate the Indian Independence day at Parade Ground, Old King’s school, 24A O’Connell Street, Parramatta .
On 27 August, as part of celebrating Krishnashtami, a special program was organised  at Namadwaar.  Several activities, traditionally done in celebrating a festival such as rangoli with flowers on the patio, gopi chandan for boys, gopi dots for girls, Krishna’s feet impressions from outside up to shrine, abhishekam and chamaram to Krishna’s idol, recital of stotras and dancing around Krishna’s idol chanting the Maha mantra were done. In addition, two photo booths, where children could take pictures with a portrait of Lord Krishna and dress up as Krishna (Crown. flute, Govardhan hill!!) were great attractions for young children and boys.  Skipping rope challenge and count the jelly beans in the jar challenges were organised and children participated enthusiastically in all the activities. Gopa Kuteeram choir children presented a few bhajans they had learnt, with Aidan from L3 giving percussion support for the bhajans.  Nikita Raj from L2 was the MC for the day. Parents provided good feedback about how much their children enjoyed the program.
L3 children are learning Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavat Gita this year.  At the end of chapter 6 of Bhagavat Gita (Dhyana yoga), Mythreiji from G.O.D Australia conducted a mantra meditation workshop for children on 28th August.  Children gave positive feedback about the impact of this short meditation in helping them to relax and calm their mind.
Third term came to an end on 18th September with L1 & L2 class.  Many rounds of several fun activities, such as quiz, find the personality, treasure hunt, complete the sloka were organised.
Term 4 starts on 9 October and the classes will continue till the annual day on 20th November.
