Hosting a satsang to celebrate a family event is a great way of expressing the gratitude to the Lord. Smt Rajani Sabharwal ji and family organized the satsang in their Hornsby home on the 19th Mar’16 to thank the Lord for her grandson’s success at the HSC exams this year.

The event was well attended by friends and relatives of the host family. Mahamantra and several kirtans filled the serene ambience with great participation from almost everyone present. Bhajans and kirtans by friends of the hosts was a very welcome and blissful experience. Siddharth Muralimanohar took the stage and spoke very eloquently on the greatness of singing and chanting the divine names. He mentioned that though Namakirtan is a highly rewarding experience, people often tend not to recognize its efficacy for the reason of its simplicity. He quoted personal examples of the rich rewards that Namasankirtan brings about. The greatness of divine names has been emphasized by many mahatmas in the rich Indian tradition and is something very special to our heritage, he added. G.O.D Australia’s purpose and activities were explained to the new participants in the gathering with a mention of Namadwaar which is getting ready soon for the public. The programme was concluded with Hanuman Chalisa, arti and mahaprasad. Several participants expressed interest in G.O.D’s activities and listed their contact details for ongoing updates.
